  • You can try using another device, tweaking the audio settings on your device, or working to resolve issues with your internet connection if you can't hear people on Skype or they can't hear you.
  • Because Skype relies on your internet connection, if your audio cuts in and out or seems to slow, it could be the consequence of a faulty connection. Contact your internet provider for assistance, or go closer to your Wi-Fi router or to a location with better cellular reception.
  • Make a call to the Skype 'Echo / Sound Test Service' contact from your contacts menu. You should be asked to record a test message and then listen to it. If this works regularly, your audio settings appear to be in order, and the problem could be with the person on the other end of the line. Request that the other person on the line performs the test as well.
