How many universities in the country have been declared fake by the UGC in 2020 ?

There are 20 universities in the country have been declared by the UGC in 2020:-

Among these 20 universities, Delhi has 8 fake universities which is the highest number. There are 6 states and 2 union territory. The names of 6 States and 2 Union Territory are as follows:-

Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal  (6 States) & Delhi, Puducherry (2 Union Territory).

Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal has 2 fake Universities while Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra and Puducherry has 1 fake Universities. Uttar Pradesh has 4 fake Universities. Delhi has most fake Universities is 8.
