The year 2020, Many country are in fight to become world best military unit but China win this trophy, China had the biggest active personnael military unit in the world, with about 2.18 million active military personnel. India, the U.S., North Korea , and Russia rounded out the top five countries with the biggest active duty military forces.
What is active personnel?
Active personnel, also known as active duty in the United States and active service in the United Kingdom, are those individuals whose full-time occupation is being part of a military force. Active personnel is in contrast to a military’s reserve force, which are individuals who have both a military role and a civilian career. In the u. s., the number of reserve forces is much larger than its active duty membership.
Military spending worldwide
While the u. s. has the third largest active duty military unit in the world, it leads the remainder of the world in military spending, followed by China and Saudi Arabia . The U.S. also led military spending among NATO countries, which is that the most influential military alliance in the world.

The People’s Liberation Army Ground Force (PLAGF) of China is the world’s biggest army, with an estimated 1.6 million troops. Established in August 1927, the PLAGF is one of the major military divisions of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
The PLA operates under the command of the Central Military Commission. The active ground forces of the army are deployed across seven military regions in the country.
China is also the second largest military spender in the world after the US. The official defence spending of the country reached $250bn in 2018.
Indian Army -
Constituting 1.2 million troops, the Indian Army is commanded by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS). It employs a regimental system divided into mountain, infantry, and armoured and mechanised divisions.

Korean People’s Army Ground Force (KPAGF) -
The Korean People’s Army Ground Force (KPAGF) is the major arm of North Korea’s Korean People’s Army. Established in August 1947, the KPAGF is estimated to have a current strength of 950,000 troops.
