The Government of India has banned 59 apps related to China including TikTok and UC Browser amidst border dispute with China in East Ladakh. The government has termed these apps as dangerous for safety. A statement issued by the government said that according to the information available, these apps are engaged in activities which are dangerous to India's sovereignty, integrity and security.
