Detail the important facts of lungs?

The Liver is situated on the right side of the stomach. It is known to be the largest gland in the human body. It weighs around 1.5 to 2 kgs. The fall bladder is attached to the liver and stores bole produced by it. The liver is responsible for the metabolism of the products of digestion and storage and release of substances (principally glucose) so as to maintain their constant level in blood.

Important facts about it

The liver is not only the hottest but also the largest and metabolically most complex internal organ of our body.  It is the only major organ in the human body that can regenerate itself if part of it is removed. The only organ in human body that can float on water are the lungs as they can hold nearly a litre of air at any moment.
