This decision was taken at a meeting of Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan and NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Rajiv Kumar here.
"During the meeting, it was decided that a roadmap would be prepared by the Department of Food and Public Distribution to take up the pilot plan of Rice Fortification Pan India, to effectively tackle the problem of malnutrition in India.," it said.
Every state government departments and other stakeholders would also be consulted, it added.
