Intel Corporation launched the first processor chip based on Artificial Intelligence-AI.
The company named this processor chip Nervana NNP-1 or Springhill. This is a chipset specifically designed for large computing centers. It is based on a 10-nanometer ice lake processor, which gives it the ability to withstand high workloads in low energy.
Intel has developed this processor at the development facility in the Haifa city of an Israel-based company.
The corporation has invested $ 120 million in three AI startups in Israel. According to the company, this is their first AI product after the said investment.
The company's objective is that organizations using computing adapt themselves by AI in such a way that they can effectively handle and use large amounts of data generated in the future.
