The primary phase of the Indo-Israeli Agricultural Cooperation Project began in 2008 after the marking of a three-year Action Plan dependent on a Government to Government Agreement. The arrangement was later on reached out to incorporate the 2012-2015 period.

India and Israel have been major diplomatic, military, political partners since the state of Israel came into existence. In the Modi government, only the relationship between the two countries has strengthened so much that both the countries have turned the most favored nations for each other.

Now with time, Israel pushes for more technological advancement especially in agriculture sector for which India also has taken note of acknowledgment. With time India's agriculture sector is set to reach new heights and both countries will make new agricultural front model.
