The 11th biennial edition of DefExpo India-2020 was successfully held for the first time in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The main theme of DefExpo India-2020 was 'India: The Emerging Defense Manufacturing Hub' and the focus was on 'Digital Transformation of Defense'.

Defexo India is the largest exhibition for new and future defense technology and it is the largest exhibition for the world's defense companies to showcase their land, sea, and air capabilities in a single exhibition. 

Representatives from 70 countries and 172 foreign military manufacturers participated in the five-day mega exhibition. 856 Indian defense firms also showcased their diverse range of defense products at this event. India is one of the biggest hubs for defense sector products and countries like Russia, USA, Israel take keen interest in doing defense trade deals with India.
