It’s been the 4th edition of the tournament was organized at Santa Ponsa Tennis Club at Mallorca in Spain. This has been the second Women's Tennis Association (WTA) singles title of Sofia Kenin for the season.

Sofia is number 6 seed and defeated the number 3 seed, Belinda, to lock up her win and the 2019 title on her name. The American Kenin had 48 winners to 38 unforced errors during the match, and converted four of her nine break points, winning over half of the points when facing a Bencic second serve. Bencic had 28 winners to 26 unforced errors; half of those unforced errors were her 13 double faults.

She beat 48 winners in the lengthy contest played in hot summer weather at the Santa Ponsa Country Club.

This was Kenin’s 3rd appearance in any tournament in the final event. However, the defending champion ‘Tatjana Maria’ didn’t participate in the 2019 Mallorca Open Title event. The 20-year-old stepped up on her serve in a clinical third-set display, winning 20 of 24 points. She broke Bencic in the ninth game to give herself a chance to serve out the match, which she did to wrap up the victory in two hours and 42 minutes.
