Which State Government confers the Basavashree award?

Basava Puraskara is an honor presented by the Government of Karnataka. The honor is introduced based on people's commitment to social changes and social change and work for achieving strict concordance. The Basava Puraskara is a public honor. The honor contains Rs. 1 million, a token, and a reference.  

The Basava Shree grant, which comprises of Rs 5 lakh money and a reference, was established in 1997 to respect the administration of devoted dignitaries, social reformers, and the men of scholastic greatness for delivering yeomen administration to the general public in the field of writing, music, social reconstruction, and worldwide agreement.
August 24, 2018: Professor M S Swaminathan, Founder-Chairman, M S Swaminathan Research Foundation, has been picked for the current year for the Basava Shree Award to be presented by the Shri Jagadguru Murugharajendra Brihanmath, settled in Chitradurga, Karnataka.
An assignment of agents, for Dr. Shivamurthy Murugha Sharanaru, the pontiff of the math, visited Professor Swaminathan on Thursday, August 23, to actually welcome him to get the honor at a capacity to be held in at Chitradurga on an advantageous date in October.
