Instagram, like other popular applications, receives regular upgrades to keep everything running smoothly and the app performing at its best. This is why it is critical to keep the app up to date. If you haven't set your iPhone to automatically update applications, you'll have to do it manually. After that, go to App Storage and search for any available software updates for your applications, including Instagram. Here's how to do it correctly:

1. From the Home screen, tap the App Store icon.

2. Tap the Updates symbol in the App Store's bottom right corner.
3. To update the app, tap the Update option next to Instagram.
