Certain app problems might also cause the iPhone touchscreen to freeze. When an app acts badly, the iPhone's basic functionality may also become erratic. The issue can be traced back to a certain program, either built-in or third-party. After downloading or installing new applications or content, the iPhone touchscreen may begin to freeze, get slow, or become entirely unresponsive. That recent file download is most likely to blame. Uninstall the questionable program or content if possible. Here's how to do it:

  • If the issue is limited to a single app, look for it on your iPhone's home screen.
  • Place your finger on the app icon and hold it there until all of the icons wiggle.
  • Tap the X in the upper-left corner of the symbol when it appears.
  • To entirely delete the program, tap Delete.
If your iPhone 6s touchscreen still doesn't function, it's not the app's fault. You can reinstall the app
