In this scenario, a lot of variables must be addressed or analyzed. Because calling includes the use of a network, the major difficulty is likely to be related to network concerns. Among the possibilities are network outages and technical challenges with the network system, but these are not the only ones. Switching between cellular data choices in their device settings helped some folks who had the same problem with lost calls and called failed errors on the same iPhone.
