It's possible that your cellular connection is inconsistent or poor.
If you exclusively use mobile data to download apps, connect to a wifi network and see what happens. Unreliable cellular connections might cause updates to be interrupted. Make sure you're connected to a recognized, reliable wifi network before attempting to download apps again. Streaming videos is the best method to tell if you're on a good wifi network. You're okay to go if the videos don't stutter or take a long time to load (buffer).

Bug with Apple ID

App Store bugs cause certain apps to fail to install. Before you begin, make sure you've signed out of your existing Apple ID. After that, restart your phone and sign back in with the same Apple ID. Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Select iTunes & App Store from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select the Apple ID menu from the drop-down menu.
  4. Tap Sign out in the pop-up menu.
  5. Tap the Apple ID menu again and sign in with your Apple ID
  6.  We're not aware of any hardware issues that would prohibit an iPhone from installing an app, therefore your issue is almost certainly software-related. This implies that restoring all phone settings to factory defaults should resolve the issue. Follow these instructions if you haven't already tried this solution:

  1. Create an iCloud, iTunes, or both backup of your stuff.
  2. Open the Settings application.
  3. Select General.
  4. Restart by pressing the Reset button.
  5. Erase All Content and Settings is the last option.
  6. Enter your passcode if prompted.
  7. Erase your iPhone by pressing the Erase button.
