Using iTunes to access your iPhone system allows you to back up all of your crucial data before doing an iOS restore/update or factory reset. To get started, you'll need a computer (Windows or Mac) with the most recent version of iTunes installed. Once you've got everything in order, proceed through the following steps:

  1. On your PC, launch iTunes.
  2. Use the USB connector that came with your iPhone to connect it to your computer.
  3. When your iPhone appears in iTunes, choose it.
  4. To back up your iPhone data, click Backup Now.
  5. To restore a prior iOS file, click Restore Backup.
  6. Find the iOS backup file you wish to utilize and open it. Each backup file's date and time stamp may be consulted.
  7. Wait for the procedure to complete before clicking Restore.
  8. Enter your device passcode if asked.

Maintain your device's connection to the computer until the restoration is completed. You can disconnect when it has finished syncing data.
