You don't normally need all of the server settings if you're using a free email provider. You may easily set it up on your phone as long as you know your right login and password, since the device will automatically fill in all relevant blanks with known values. To put it another way, it's a semi-automated arrangement. Here's how to do it:

  1. To get started, go to the Home screen and select Settings.
  2. Scroll to and then touch Mail from the list of choices on the Settings screen.
  3. To continue, tap Accounts.
  4. Tap Add Account on the Accounts screen. Following that, a list of email providers will be provided.
  5. Select your Email Provider/Email Account from the drop-down menu. If your email service provider isn't shown, touch Other and then Add Mail Account. In this scenario, you must follow the onscreen steps and give all of the requested information in order to establish your account. If you don't know your email settings, please contact your email provider or carrier. If all else fails, utilise the online Mail Settings Lookup tools supplied by your individual carriers.
  6. Select Google to continue with this presentation.
  7. Select NEXT after entering your email address (Gmail account) in the provided area.
  8. Enter the proper password if required, then choose NEXT to continue. Wait for your account to be verified by Mail.
  9. Set the account sync options or choose the material you want to sync.. This section is optional.
  10. Tap Save to complete the process.
After this, messages will come rushing in.
