It's likely that your wifi network has gone down and has to be repaired in order for your phone to connect. If this is the case, ignoring the network may be beneficial. Your Wi-Fi network will be deleted or removed from your device, and you will have to set it up again. It's as if your iPhone is connecting to the WiFi network for the first time. Here's how you do it:

  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Select Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap the switch to activate Wi-Fi if necessary.
  4. From the list, find your Wi-Fi network.
  5. Then, adjacent to your Wi-Fi network, press the blue I or information symbol.
  6. Select Forget This Network from the drop-down menu. The network will be removed from your phone as a result of this action.
Carry on with the remainder of the wireless networks in the list

Reboot your iPhone (soft reset) when you've finished for getting your wireless networks, then reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Go to Settings-> Wi-Fi, activate Wi-Fi if necessary, and then begin scanning for accessible wireless networks. To connect, hit Join after selecting your Wi-Fi network.
Check whether your iPhone can connect to Wi-Fi currently.
