Check to see whether your iPhone's wifi is working.
Connect to a known good wifi network and test if your iPhone's wifi works regularly. If it does, move on to the next step in the troubleshooting process.

Restart your network.
All network configurations on your iPhone 8 will be reset using these troubleshooting methods. To prevent being inconvenienced later, make a note of any wifi passwords and VPN set up before proceeding with the methods below. The following settings will be erased if you reset your iPhone's network settings:

  1. Wifi
  2. VPN
  3. Network of mobile phones
  4. Bluetooth
  5. After this troubleshooting step, your phone should still be able to connect to your carrier's network.
To reset your network settings, follow these steps:
Reset the factory settings
If nothing else works at this point, you can erase the phone and reset the OS to factory settings. This will erase all user data, including photographs, videos, and messages, so make a backup to your PC or the cloud-first.
  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Select General.
  3. Restart by pressing the Reset button.
  4. Erase All Content and Settings is the option to choose.
  5. Continue by entering the right passcode for your device if required.
  6. To confirm the action, tap the selection.
