It's a good idea to clean up your storage space on a regular basis. Even though your iPhone has a lot of storage space, it doesn't mean it won't run out of memory. There are instances when some apps on your iPhone go wild and use up a lot of space on your device's internal memory. So it wouldn't hurt to check the health of your phone's internal memory and, if required, free up some space. The following is a map of how to get there:
1. Go to the Manage Storage tab in Settings-> General-> Storage & iCloud Usage.
2. A list of apps may be found in the Storage section.
3. Use this list to figure out which programs are taking up the most space.
If you see an app with unexpected memory allocation, that program is most likely at blame and has to be addressed. If possible, you can remove the program.
