Resetting all settings to their defaults on iOS can sometimes cure issues. Because certain flaws only appear when there is a misconfiguration or inappropriate setup, this is the case. To see if this is the case, perform the following steps to reset all of your settings:

  1. Go to Settings>General>Reset from the Home screen.
  2. Reset All Settings is the last option.
  3. Enter the passcode if one is offered.
  4. To confirm, tap Reset All Settings.

The reset may take a few seconds to complete, so simply wait for it to finish.

You're effectively pushing the phone to discard changes that occurred after it was unboxed if you reset all the settings. This technique will not remove any of your personal data, such as images or movies, therefore it is completely safe to use. We still recommend that you back everything up though before doing it.

After the phone has been resetto its normal settings, keep an eye on it to see whether it is overheating or draining the battery.
