The instructions below will guide you through the process of backing up your iPhone X data to iCloud. You'll need a Wi-Fi connection on your device to continue. Enable Wi-Fi on your iPhone X if it isn't already, then follow these steps:

  • On the Home screen, tap Settings.
  • At the top of the list, tap your Apple ID.
  • To sign in, enter your Apple ID credentials if requested.
  • To continue, tap iCloud.
  • Tap the slider next to the apps you want to back up, then tap the iCloud Backup app at the bottom of the list.
  • To back up your phone's media and photographs, go to Photos, turn on the iCloud Photo Library slider, return to iCloud, and then hit the iCloud Backup app at the bottom of the list.
  • If necessary, enable iCloud Backup.
  • Finally, press the Back Up Now button to finalise the activity.
