To put your iPhone in recovery mode and set it up again, follow these steps:
  • Use the USB or Lightning cable that came with your iPhone X to connect it to your computer.
  • Wait for iTunes to identify your device after opening it on your computer. If iTunes is currently running on your computer, shut it before reopening it.
  • While your iPhone X is connected, do the following procedures to force it to restart:
  • Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
  • Quickly press and release the Volume Down button.
  • Then, until the Recovery Mode screen displays, press and hold the Side (Power) button. When the Apple logo shows, do not press the button yet; instead, wait for the Recovery Mode screen.
  • When iTunes asks if you want to Restore or Update, choose Update to have iTunes try to restore iOS without wiping your data. Wait until iTunes has completed downloading the iPhone X software.
  • To restore from a previous iOS backup, select Restore. Select the backup file you want to use, then wait and follow the onscreen steps to finish the iOS backup restoration. Restoring your smartphone wipes away all previous data and installs the most recent iOS version available.
  • Disconnect your iPhone X from the computer once you've finished restoring it in recovery mode, then restart it by hitting the Side button.

I hope this solution helps
