How to restore your iPhone or iPad from a backup

Method 1

    1. Start afresh or recently deleted iPad.
      1. To select a language and area, follow the online instructions.
      2. Select Set Up Manually from the drop-down menu.
      3. Follow the onscreen prompts after tapping Restore from iCloud Backup.
      Method 2
      1. Connect a fresh or recently deleted iPad to the computer containing your backup via USB.
      2. Choose one of the following options:
      3. On your Mac, in the Finder sidebar, type: After selecting your iPad, click Trust.
      4. MacOS 10.15 or later is necessary to recover an iPad from a backup using the Finder. Use iTunes to restore from a backup if you're using an older version of macOS.
      5. If you have many devices connected to your PC and are using the iTunes program on a Windows PC, click the device icon towards the top left of the iTunes window,  then select your new or newly erased iPad from the list.
      6. On the welcome screen, click “Restore from this backup,” choose your backup from the list, then click Continue.
