Steps  to troubleshoot Bluetooth connections

  • Ensure that both devices are turned on.This may sound like a no-brainer, but between power-saving and sleep modes, a gadget that should be turned on could really be switched off
  • Make that both devices have Bluetooth and can communicate with one another.-Begin with the fundamentals: Make sure that each of the devices you intend to utilise have Bluetooth technology and that it is supported. Just because a headset or stereo is new doesn't imply it comes with Bluetooth built-in.
  • Some functionality of the device may be disabled when in aeroplane mode or battery saving mode. Radio frequency broadcasting components, such as Bluetooth, will be turned off when in aeroplane mode.
  • The best way to deal with these situations is to 'forget' the devices you're trying to connect, then restart them before attempting to pair them again.
