Fixmbr is a Recovery Console command that creates a new master boot record on the specified hard disc drive.
Fix the syntax of the Fixmbr command

The command is written as follows:
device name fixmbr

Examples of Fixmbr Commands
The command's usage is demonstrated by two examples.

1. rename DeviceHardDisk0 to fixmbr

The master boot record writes to the drive at DeviceHardDisk0 in the example above.

2. fixmbr
The master boot record, in this case, writes to the device that supports your operating system. If you only have one copy of Windows installed, which is most of the time, running the command in this manner is usually the best option.
