Make a backup of your email. by following these steps:

    1. Select File > Open & Export > Import/Export from the File menu.
    2. Select Next after selecting Export to a file.
    3. Select Next after selecting Outlook Data File (.pst).
    4. Select Next after selecting the mail folder you wish to back up.
    5. Select Finish after selecting a location and a name for your backup file.
