  • ActiveX is a programming language that runs on Microsoft Windows systems. However, you can use ActiveX on a Mac, albeit the download required to utilise the programming on a Mac is different than the download required for Windows. This is due to the variations in operating systems between a Mac and a Windows machine.
  • On your Mac machine, open the Internet browser. Please see the Resources section below for a download link.
  • The ActiveX download begins on the computer after you click the 'Download' tab. Because the software isn't particularly huge, it shouldn't take long to complete.
  • To begin the installation, double-click the downloaded Mac ActiveX download in the 'Downloads' window (or double-click the desktop icon).
  • Complete the ActiveX setup by following the installation prompts.
