- You can utilise Migration Assistant at any moment if you didn't migrate your data when you originally set up your MacBook Air. Go to Applications, open the Utilities folder, then double-click Migration Assistant and follow the onscreen instructions. Ensure that both computers are linked to the same network and that they remain close to one another throughout the migration.
