to Using Disk Utility, restore your permissions: 

1. Select Utilities from the Go menu.
2. Disk Utility may be accessed by double-clicking it.
   
3. In the left pane, choose the volume for which you wish to fix permissions.
4. Select the tab for First Aid.
5. Select the disc on which the Adobe application will be installed, and then select Repair Disk Permissions.
