“The Complete Story of Indian Reforms 2G, Power & Private Enterprise: A Practitioner’s Diary” is written by the former Chairman of ‘Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’ (TRAI), “Pradeep Baijal”. The book was released on April 24, 2015.

who wrote the Complete Story of Indian Reforms: 2G, Power & Private Enterprise and When?
The book was self-published by the writer ‘Pradeep Baijal’. After the release, the book came under controversy, as Mr. Baijal’s writing claims that the former Prime Minister ‘Manmohan Singh’ warned him for the consequences if he won’t co-operate with them in this 2G Scam. Whereas, the CBI also warned him for the harmful consequences if he didn’t cooperate with them. His book came out at such a time when the BJP led National Democratic Party has listed a corruption-free environment as the prime achievements as their first year in the office. This claim has re-generated the issue of saying NDA a corruption-free party or working.
Again the writer made the news when with a media channel he said that, the UPA Government has destroyed even some files related to the 2G Scam. Further, he said that his charges were not politically motivated whereas, the Prime Minister approved the actions of his Ministers. In the book, Mr. Baijal claimed that he was not treated well with the UPA Government and the Prime Minister himself after he put forward the recommendation on the unified license policy. In contrast to his claims, the UPA government in its defense accused Baijal in the 2G Spectrum Allocation Case.
All these accusations and the blame game between the UPA and Mr. Pradeep Baijal, has given the new ammunition to the BJP Government so that they can again attack the UPA government with these allegations.
Pradeep Baijal appointed as the third Chairman of TRAI in 2003, and at that time the telecom sector was in huge crisis. After various resistance and establishing an appropriate business, he fought for the reform in the personal cost. After a year, the accused in the 2G Spectrum Scam blamed for generating these conditions of malpractice.
