A Pakistani Politician “Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri,” wrote the book “Neither a Hawk nor a Dove: An insider’s account of Pakistan’s Foreign Policy”.The book was published in the year 2015, under publication of ‘Oxford University Press Pakistan’. Khurshid Mahmud was the Pakistani Foreign Affairs Minister from November 23, 2002, to November 15, 2007.

He wrote this book under the then President of Pakistan, ‘Parvez Musharraf’ and he was the Foreign Minister. The book was written on highlighting the Peace Process movement with India. In which he was also the contributor of the movement. In the book, he provided a detailed analysis of the Kashmir Issue. He mentioned various activities of his Indian counterparts Pranab Mukherjee, Natwar Singh, Yashwant Sinha, Manmohan Singh, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee very freely and frankly. He also mentioned Pakistan’s relationship with China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey in his book.
He was associated with ‘Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’ and ‘Pakistan Muslim League Q’, later in 2012, he joined the ‘Pakistan Movement of Justice’ (PTI). In 2012, he lectured with ‘Jaswant Singh’ on the topic involving in the ‘Peace and Conflict Studies’ at the “Centre of Peace and Progress”.
He was one of the few members of Pakistan Muslim League, who always expressed his views on every national issue frankly and boldly whether the government like his opinion or not.
