It is the country’s largest Hotel operations and has his involvement from Hospitality to Oil and Gas Exploration and Production, Property Development and Real Estate, Industries and Commodities Trading as well. He is one of the wealthiest people of Pakistan. In 2014, he received an award of ‘Knight-Commander in the Order of Leopold II’ by “HH King Philippe of Belgium”. The award was conferred on his name in recognition of his work contributed to the kingdom of Belgium.
In 1960, along with his brother, he founded a company ‘Hassan Ali’ for cotton trading. Then by 1970s, the company became the largest Cotton Trading Company of Pakistan. The company gets nationalized in the year 1973.
