The Bowling Crease is also popularly known as “Popping Crease”. One Popping Crease is drawn on both the ends of the pitch and in front of the wickets. The length of Popping Crease (Batting Crease) is marked 1.22 m in front of the Stumps at either end. The return creases are marked at the right angle to the Batting and Popping Crease is measured as 1.32m at either side of the middle stump.
