What is the weight of a tennis ball ?

A tennis ball is hollow and made of inflated rubber, covered with a cloth that should be uniform. It is between 25 and 2 5/8 inches (6.35 and 6.67 cm) in diameter and between 2 and 2 1/16 ounces (57.7 and 58.5 grams). Yellow and white balls are used in competition

Women in tennis are also struggling for the same prize money as men. Meanwhile, a study has revealed that the height and net weight of the ball should be reduced for women, given their physical structure and ability.
Many sports have a difference in accessories used for men and women. For example, in volleyball, the women's net is down, the same happens in basketball. In the javelin throwing event, the women's javelin is lighter while in hurdles the odds are lower. Now the Ben Gurion University of Israel has called for changes in women's tennis in its research.
Dr. Mosi Rosenboim of the University said- For tennis, matches will be more competitive for women by lowering the height of the net and lightening the ball. We have to note that in the current rules, men's matches are very close, whereas in most of the women's matches, the weight of anyone is heavy. Men and women have different physical abilities, especially during service.
