Teen Murti Chowk a historical war memorial located near the official residence of the first Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru will be renamed as Teen Murti Haifa Chowk. The historical war memorial was renamed to “Teen Murti Haifa Chowk” when the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu visited India in the month of January 2018. The decision to rename the historical war memorial was taken during the visit of Indian Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi to Israel in July 2017. The historical war memorial was renamed as a gesture of friendship between India and Israel.

The Teen Murti War memorial is based on Indian soldiers who participated in the Battle of Haifa for the 15th Imperial Service Cavalry Brigade. The historical war memorial consists of three life-size bronze statues representing soldiers from Hyderabad, Jodhpur and Mysore. The operation dates back to 23rd September 1918 when Indian soldiers targeted the fort of the city of Haifa which was jointly controlled by German, Austro-Hungarian forces and the Ottoman. 44 Indian soldiers were martyred fighting for the Allied Powers in the attempt to liberate the city of Haifa in Israel. This operation was known as the Battle of Haifa.
