Electronic cigarette or E-cigarette is a kind of cigarette which is smoked through Electronic Nicotine Delivery System (ENDS). Ravindra Kumar Sinha the State Drug Controller (SDC) issued a statement banning the sale and purchase of E-cigarette in the state both in offline and online mode. The statement has been sent to the assistant drug controllers (ADCs) and drug inspectors for the strict enforcement of this rule.

Hindi is the official language of the state.
