Smart Freight Operation Optimization & Real Time Information (SFOORTI) app was launched by the Ministry of Railways to track both passenger and freight trains over Zones/Divisions/Sections. This is a major digital initiative by the Ministry of Railways which will help plan the traffic flows and optimize freight operations. The app will help the freight managers monitor and manage the freight business using the feature of Geographic Information System (GIS) and dashboards.
