The protium isotope, 1H (Hydrogen-1), has only the One (1) nucleon, positively charged particle in its nucleus. 2H (Hydrogen-2), deuterium, has (2)two nucleons and 3H (Hydrogen-3), tritium has 3 (three) nucleons in its nucleus.
