Democracy is defined as the system of government that is formed by the people, for the people, of the people. Here the word people denotes the citizens of a particular country.
All the democratic nations have the common working as it must be governed by the supreme of the country called as ‘constitution’ which is formed by the sophisticated people and who has the vast knowledge of law and norms of the nation. Hence either directly or indirectly the power of the politicians as the source has the people and is governed by the constitution of India.

Election
In India, a democratic country where the electoral form of government exists which is elected directly by the people of the country.
In India, articles 324 to 329 of the Constitution deals with the Election Commission of Indiaand election system of India in which all the information regarding elections of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and many other small elections are being covered.
Articles in the Indian constitution from 52 to 62 state the norms and specifications of the President.
The Constitution of any country is assumed to be the supreme authority of the Country and in that constitution, everything that is written will imply to all the people of India.
Under article 54 of the Indian constitution, the election of the President has been prescribed. It means the power of the polity of India has been infringed under the people of the nation.
