By birth, he belongs to Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, and did his schooling in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. In 2014, after starting his Professional Career, he participated in two events i.e. Asian Development Tour and Panasonic Open India an Asian Tour event. He holds his careers best rank at Tied-12th after the 3rd Round of the Hong Kong Open.

In such a young age, he joined the club of India’s veteran Arjun Atwal at T-30th at 3-under 207. In his career, till now he registered 8 Professional Wins. His achievements till now are, two European Tour wins, 2 Asian Tour win, and One Sunshine Tour as well as he won 6 other tournaments which involve PGTI Cochin Masters in 2014, PGTI Players Championship, Kolkata Classic, and Tata Open in the year 2016, and in the year 2017 he won TAKE Open Golf Championship and McLeod Russel Tour Championship.

Till now his successful career graph helped him to land into the exclusive club of Indians who achieved two wins in the same European Tour Season. The others whom he joined are Jeev Milkha Singh (2006) and Anirban Lahiri (2015). He received the honor of ‘Sir Henry Cotton Rookie’ of the year 2018, and in the same year received the award for ‘Asian Tour Order of Merit’. In Asian Tour win he defeated the home favorite ‘Erik Van Rooyen’ (66) by three shots. In the record by being the first youngest Indian Golfer who makes into the 147th Open Championships in Carnoustie.
