In Feb 2018 Bermuda became the first country to repeal same-sex marriage. It replaces the right of the island nation's 60,000 residents to enter same-sex marriages with a "domestic partnership", that's available to couples of any sexual orientation.

It makes it the first country to take such action to repeal same-sex marriage rights. The LGBTQ community protested against it.
