Why is SCO important? 
- It is seen as an organization countering NATO.

Challenges before SCO
India opposes China's ambitious 'One Belt One Road' (OBOR) project. The traditional sharp relationship between India and Pakistan is also a big challenge for SCO as both countries are members of this organization.
