Billy Graham, the renowned Christian evangelist has passed away. He was related to which country?

He was sometimes called the messenger of God. He traveled around the world to propagate Christianity.

The soft and sweet tongue of Billy Graham was different from that of most preachers of his time, who preached Christianity in a fiery tone. He beloned to USA and was born on  7 November 1918, Charlotte, North Carolina, United States.

He continued to teach religion for sixty years. He directly addressed about 21 crore people in 185 countries of the world. Billy Graham, one of the most influential preachers of the 20th century, bid farewell to this world on 21 February 2018.

He continued to teach religion for sixty years. He directly addressed about 21 crore people in 185 countries of the world. Apart from this, millions of people heard him on TV and radio. In the beginning, most of his listeners were white, middle class and traditionalist.

But as the Civil Rights Movement gained momentum in America, Billy Graham began preaching against separatism. Things reached such a point that his relationship with Martin Luther King deteriorated for some time.

Billy Graham, William Franklin Graham Jr., was born on November 7, 1918 in Charlotte, North Carolina. His family used to run dairy. Billy's parents were members of the Conservative Associated Reformed Presbyterian Church.

When the prohibition in the United States ended in 1933, Billy Graham's father forced him to drink beer.  But until the end, Billy tried to warn his father of the dangers of alcohol. Billy did not touch alcohol.
When he was sixteen years old, he devoted himself to Christ. He became a priest in 1939.  At the time of World War II, he wanted to work as a pastor in the army, but his dream remained incomplete due to mumps (throat disease).

In 1943 he moved to the Florida Bible Institute and married Rath McCue Bell. But when Martin Luther King was assassinated in 1968, Billy could not stop himself from getting emotional.  He said that America lost a 'social leader' and 'messenger of God'.
