* BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2015*

The BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award 2015 was organized on 20th of December 2015 at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast. Well, here comes the winner of this Award… Andy Murray. This has been the 62nd presentation of this Award Ceremony as BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award. This Ceremony is been organized every year by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), well, the agenda of offering this award to an individual’s British Sporting Achievement over analyzing at his earlier year achievements, thus, the winner for the particular event was chosen by Public through their valuable votes out of 12 people who were nominated for the same and is Andy Murray.

Furthermore, other than the sports personality of the year award, there were 7 other listed awards as well, which follows: Coach of the Year, Young Sports Personality of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Overseas Sports Personality of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award and Unsung Hero, and Team of the Year.

Sir Andrew Barron Murray was born on 15th of May 1987, lives in Scotland thus, a British Professional Tennis player currently Rank #29 across the globe in the Men’s Singles Tournament held on 5th of March 2018. Murray dedicated his contribution to Great Britain in the activities he does in sports and is been a 3-times winner for the title of Grand Slam Tournament, bagged twice a victory in Olympic Championship, the victor for the ATP World Tour Finals 2016 and he bagged the Davis Cup in its championship.

In US Open Finals 2012, Murray defeated Novak Djokovic, for up the stair for turning into the prime British Player since the year 1977, and turned to be the prime British man of 1936, to bag the Grand Slam Single Tournament. He has also been the prime British Man who bagged the Wimbledon Title after Fred Perry since the year of 1935.

Murray bagged the Gold medal in the Olympics in the year of 2012 and 2016 respectively, turning him the only tennis player either male or female, to have bagged 2 titles of the Olympic Singles. In the year 2015… he was featured in Great Britain’s Davis Cup- Winning team in the year, thus in the year of 1936, the Davis Cup has been secured by him scoring 11-0 methods.
