The Arrow series is my personal favorite, been a great lover of adventure, action, thrill, and drama this series has satisfied its viewer in each and every aspect. The sequence where his father kills himself takes place in the first season of the series and actually it’s the part of Oliver’s origin story.

So Oliver along with her girlfriend Sarah decides to go on a trip in the Pacific Ocean but in between due to storm the ship gets wrecked and somehow Oliver his father and the captain of the boat manages to survive on the lifeboat.

Oliver’s father on the lifeboat realized that the food and other resources aren’t enough for the three of them to survive as there were no signs of any Islands or a land. His father wanted his son to live and that’s why he shoots the captain and then sacrifices his life by shooting himself.Later Oliver somehow manages to survive and finds an Island named Lian Yu and then the story of Arrow series continues further.
