Shri Dharmendra Kumar is an IPS officer of the 1984 group of AGMUT Cadre. He has done his Grads in Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi University. He held different critical posts including FRRO, DDI and Deputy Director(VS) in Intelligence Bureau. He likewise headed the Mizoram Police and Andaman and Nicobar Islands Police as Director General and Inspector General of Police separately. He has likewise filled in as Inspector General of Police Arunachal Pradesh and Sr. Uncommon Commissioner of Police, (DG Scale) Delhi Police. Before joining RPF as Director-General of 21.08.2017, he was holding the post of ADG (Airport Sector) in CISF HQ, New Delhi. As of late, under his Chairmanship, CISF composed All India Police Athletics Championship (AIPAC-2016) at Hyderabad with a terrific achievement. He has been granted the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Services and President's Police Medal for Distinguished Services.
