Soul is our ultimate core level of being. Our bodies are the clothes we wear upon the soul. 'Having a sweet soul' gives the most beautiful compliment to your true, inner self.

It means having the senses of one's thoughts and feelings, having a connectedness with one's mind and what lies beyond it;  and yet being present in the moment, being aware of your surroundings and presenting yourself appropriately.

Knowing what is to be appreciated, taking gratitude, having pleasure in one's own company and being empathetic towards others is what having a sweet soul means.

It is not something that could be described in words because we are living in a materialistic world. When we connect with our inner being all that materialism fades away and what remains is just pure nothingness of our own.

The sweetness of the soul depends upon how much you're connected with yourself, your intentions and yet how  you present that identity in front of others. What are the ways that one can think of for being sweet?

  • When someone is in pain which he/she cannot speak of there might be a certain person who, not through some astrology, connects with him so well that he is really able to empathize with that person and his pain.
  • When someone is being rude and irrationally harsh to you, then instead of storming off in anger you try to understand all the possible reasons of where it is coming from at you;  that is what defines yourself.
  • When you share the sorrows of fellow beings as much as you share their joys is what enriches your soul.

These are some of the ways in which by doing all the worldly activities you can still be connected to the very deep sense of being in the universe. And when your intentions show in your actions; people call it 'a sweet soul'.

Understand that soul has nothing to do with someone's compliments or anything materialistic in this world, it is only a depiction of your inner self through outer medium, i.e., your body and its actions.
