STEP ONE:

  • Go to the Instagram Settings menu
  • To begin, navigate to Instagram's Settings section.
  • To do so, go to your profile and select the menu in the top-right corner.
  • After that, go to the bottom of the page and click the 'Settings' link.

STEP TWO:

  •  Select Security.
  • To access your sent follow requests, you'll need to click on the 'Security' option, which may seem strange at first.

STEP THREE

  • Select 'Access Data' from the drop-down menu.
  • When the 'Security' page appears, scroll down until you see the 'Access Data' option. The 'Data and History' menu contains this option.
  • Instagram may prompt you to allow cookies, among other things, at this point. This question is usually only asked the first time you try to use the 'Access Data' option.

STEP FOUR

  • Select 'Current follow requests' from the drop-down menu.
  • Finally, go to the 'Connections' area and select 'Current follow requests' from the drop-down menu.
  • Instagram will display a list of any outstanding follow requests you've sent previously.
One thing you'll notice about this menu is that the Instagram usernames aren't clickable. Furthermore, neither their display names nor their profile images are visible. It's really just text.

As a result, in order to find their profiles, you'll have to manually type their usernames into your search field.
