Who hold the world record of highest number of consecutive maiden overs in a test match?Nadkarni full name Rameshchandra Gangaram Bapu of was the former Indian Test cricketer who holds the world record of the bowling highest number of consecutive maiden overs in a test match.

Born on 4 April 1933, Nadkarni appeared in cricket in the Rohinton Baria trophy for the University of Pune in the year 1950 and just after a year he entered in the first class cricket and made his debut for Maharashtra.  


He got a lucky break in 1955 when he got picked for playing against NewZealand in the Test which was going to be played at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium. Nadkarni scored 68 runs and was not out and bowled 57 overs without getting any wicket in debut match.

With an exceptional economy of less than 2.00, he is mostly renowned for his epic bowling in Madras Test against England in 1963-64 in which he bowled around 29 over in which he bowled 26 maiden overs. He was famous for bowling an unerring line to batsmen which made nearly impossible for the batsman to score runs.
